Innovation with industrial constraints

GS와 "KIXX" 브랜드는 한국 엔진 오일 시장을 선도하는 기업 중 하나다. 4L 오일 컨테이너를 재설계하는 것은 자동차 산업과 관련된 스타일링뿐만 아니라 블로우 몰딩과 관련된 까다로운 생산 제약을 수반하는 과제였다. 최종 디자인은 적층성, 내압성, 핸들의 인체공학적 특성 등 산업적 제약을 염두에 두고 디자인되었다. GS and its “KIXX” brand are one of the leaders of the engine oil market in South Korea. Redesigning their 4L oil container was a challenge that involved styling related to the automotive industry, as well as tough production constraints involving blow-molding among others. The final design show a fresh blend of automotive surfacing, urban graffitis, and strong volumes interlocking one another, while keeping the industrial constraints in mind : stackability, pressure resistance, handle ergonomy, etc.
