For their 30th anniversary, DuSung paper created the “Paper Road” exhibition at the Seoul Arts Center. Our chief designer HyungIl Jang designed this speaker and had it exposed for a couple weeks there. About the project : "When I was young, I used to fold calendar paper and turn it into megaphones…so why not use the same technique to create a smartphone speaker? Using the natural characteristics of paper, the funnel-shaped speaker delivers a clean and loud sound. Combined to a smartphone, it kind of looks like a revamped gramophone, right? The shape of the speaker and its angle amplifies the sound best. It also redirects the sound from the side to the front and lifts up the smartphone for better screen visibility when watching videos, for example. No need of adhesive or binding, just fold the paper and you’re ready to go!"
